About the role
This role sits with the Process and Equipment Engineering team at Fab 10A, working on defect inspection and metrology solutions for advanced and conventional packaging. You will support new product introduction, HBM technology ramps and high volume manufacturing, so it suits an engineer with a strong semiconductor manufacturing and data analytics background.
What you'll do
Manage advanced inspection and metrology platforms across package development and manufacturing.
Develop technology roadmaps and capability strategies for future packaging needs.
Handle equipment lifecycle management, capacity planning and technology insertion.
Lead tool installation, qualification, release and production readiness.
Set equipment acceptance criteria, qualification methods and deployment plans.
Drive tool-to-tool matching and network standardisation.
Build inspection solutions that detect, monitor and reduce critical defect mechanisms.
Set up defect metrics, observation methods and improvement plans.
Manage and improve MRDA data systems and engineering applications for packaging technologies.
Integrate inspection, metrology, manufacturing and quality data for defect traceability and analysis.
Develop dashboards, analytics platforms and automated workflows.
Establish data governance, standards and guidelines for scalable MRDA solutions.
Apply AI and advanced analytics to improve defect detection, prediction and process control.
Support technology development programmes in HBM, advanced packaging and conventional packaging.
Ensure inspection and metrology tools are ready for NPI, pilot builds and manufacturing ramps.
Work with equipment suppliers to resolve technical issues and improve tool performance.
Evaluate and introduce next-generation inspection technologies.
Lead technical reviews, address blocking issues and manage supplier improvement initiatives.
Partner with Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, Automation and Global Engineering teams.
Lead project execution, risk management and delivery for central initiatives.
Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across sites and organisations.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Chemical Engineering or a related field
Deep understanding of semiconductor equipment performance, process integration and manufacturing operations
Experience driving equipment qualifications, technology transfers and manufacturing ramp readiness
Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to influence technical strategy across multiple organisations and sites
Strong communication, problem-solving and executive presentation skills
