This role leads the host team at a fine-dining outlet in Marina Bay Sands, overseeing reception and service so that daily restaurant operations run smoothly and guest service standards hold up. It suits an experienced F&B supervisor or host who is comfortable managing people, budgets and guest feedback in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Review outlet budgets and P&L figures.
Lead the team of outlet hosts and hostesses.
Plan, coordinate and manage reception and service so operations stay efficient and service standards are met.
Work with service and kitchen colleagues on new promotional ideas that affect outlet revenue and profitability.
Go through operating results with the team and spot ways to improve performance.
Make sure cashiering follows accounting standards.
Keep an eye on consumable wastage and maintain labour productivity ratios.
Regularly inspect table set-ups and check the restaurant for cleanliness and order.
Handle guest comments, requests and complaints promptly and professionally, taking ownership of resolving them.
Coordinate reviews, discipline, staff awards, flexi days, payroll and SRFs.
Approve staff schedules and flexi day requests.
Arrange staff training when needed and keep guest profiles updated daily.

Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Restaurant Management, or extensive F&B experience
High-volume, fast-paced restaurant experience is a plus
At least 5 years at managerial level in a 5-star hotel or deluxe restaurant
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Willing to work any day and any shift
Well-groomed, professional appearance
