About the role

You will support the Reservations Manager in running the food and beverage reservations operations for the hotel's dining outlets. The role involves keeping reservation records accurate, following up on bookings, and helping the outlets fill up during peak demand. It suits someone organised, comfortable on the phone, and keen on a hotel F&B career, including fresh graduates.

Handle daily outlet reservations and bookings coming through third-party platforms and Sevenrooms
Keep reservation correspondence filed in an orderly way and updated in Sevenrooms
Review reservation work methods and suggest improvements where needed
Reconfirm reservations, including seminars and group bookings, to help outlets reach full occupancy and maximise revenue
Meet monthly upsell targets and keep abandoned calls at or below 3%
Update the Reservations Manager on daily reservation developments and coordinate with outlets and other departments during high-demand periods, including the Events Team
Check that group bookings with deposits or guarantees for 10 diners or more, private room bookings and seminar bookings are entered correctly in Sevenrooms
Follow hotel policy in carrying out duties
Handle guest complaints and Customer Care complaints, investigate and check with the Reservations Manager for advice or approval
Update promotion data and share it with the relevant departments
Set productivity targets for officers, such as competitive shop calls and abandoned calls
Develop, organise and implement individual officer plans
Work with the Reservations Manager on recognition and celebrating team achievements
Lead the monthly reservations meeting and prepare the agenda
Monitor daily booking trends, demand and pick-up patterns and update the Reservations Manager
Take on other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

At least a Professional Certificate or NITEC in any field
Relevant hotel Rooms or F&B reservations experience is a plus
Fresh graduates are welcome
Strong customer service, communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
A good team player
Able to start within a short notice period
