Join the bar team at Wakuda, a dining venue at Marina Bay Sands, as a senior bartender. You will keep the bar running smoothly, serve guests to a high standard, and work alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-paced setting. Keep full knowledge of bar menus, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic options, wines and champagnes by the glass, glassware and garnishes, preparation methods, ingredients, portions, presentation and prices.
Stay updated on daily specials, out-of-stock items, bar layout, table set-ups and operating hours.
Enter items into the Info Genesis system.
Review daily arrivals, departures, VIPs, and in-house group activities, locations and times.
Attend line-ups and review information relevant to the day's business.
Check personal grooming and attire against standards.
Meet with Captains or the Manager to go over daily specials and out-of-stock items, and make sure other staff are informed of changes.
Communicate closely with Captains and Service Attendants to deliver quality service.
Assist other bartenders and service attendants when needed.
Carry out work and side duties following departmental procedures.
Keep storage areas stocked, organised and clean, fix any issues raised by superiors, replenish par levels, and complete requisitions for shortages or extra items.
Upsell to guests whenever possible.
Prepare special items for events as requested by superiors.
Take meal breaks as assigned.
Set up workstations and pantries to departmental standards.
Make sure all materials and equipment are ready for service based on business needs.
Follow all departmental procedures.
Join and contribute to meetings and training sessions.
Check and clean work areas daily, and report defects to the Manager on Duty.
Anticipate, acknowledge and promptly respond to guest requests.
Know all operation services, features and local attractions to answer guest questions accurately.
Report guest issues to Managers using instant pacification procedures, and ask a supervisor for help if a problem cannot be solved.
Watch guest reactions and communicate with Managers and service staff to keep guests satisfied.
Maintain cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment, supplies and work areas.
Complete all assigned closing duties before signing out.
Take part in formal training programmes.
Give feedback on problems to the Manager.
Help build a cooperative working climate that maximises productivity and morale.
Report maintenance and repair work orders to the Manager on Duty.
Review assignment status and follow-up actions with the Manager on Duty.
Complete training and certification processes successfully.
Improve NPS score cards by creating memorable experiences for guests.

Requirements
Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
Food Safety certification
At least 12 months of bartending experience
Proficient in written and verbal English
F&B knowledge
