What you'll do

Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes
Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents following policies and procedures
Record, store, access and analyse computerised financial information
Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data
Classify, code and summarise numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers and computers
Prepare, maintain and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing or payroll reports and tables
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified
Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements according to company procedures
Follow all company policies and procedures, keep uniform and appearance clean and professional, maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
Address guests' service needs professionally and promptly, communicate clearly in speech and writing, and handle phone and email enquiries with proper etiquette
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
Develop positive working relationships, support the team to reach common goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience required
Able to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
Able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Able to work with financial spreadsheets and accounting software
