About the role
Mandai Nature is a Singapore-based non-profit conservation organisation and the conservation arm of Mandai Wildlife Group, working to advance biodiversity protection across Singapore and Asia through programmes and partnerships. This role sits within the grants function and oversees grant programmes from start to finish, covering both grants given out and grants received. It suits someone with solid grant or project administration experience who is meticulous, comfortable juggling many deadlines and stakeholders, and cares about conservation and social impact.
What you'll do
Run the full grant cycle for outgoing grants, from application and assessment through approval, disbursement, monitoring and closure

Make sure grants follow approved policies, funding objectives and timelines
Work with the Programme team so grants match grant criteria, defined projects and partner priorities
Handle grantmaking administration for selected grantees, including intake, assessment coordination, approvals, contracting and fund disbursement
Carry out due diligence on prospective grantees covering governance, financial and compliance matters
Track grantee progress against approved milestones, budgets and reporting requirements
Review and track grantee reports, deliverables and how grant funds are used
Keep grant files and records accurate throughout the grant lifecycle
Support grant evaluations, monitoring visits and impact assessments
Coordinate and monitor incoming grants so funding agreements, budgets, deliverables and reporting requirements are met
Keep accurate records for incoming grants and track funding utilisation
Administer grants received from foundations, corporations, government agencies and other funding partners
Help prepare and submit grant proposals, budgets, applications and supporting documents
Maintain grant tracking systems, reporting schedules and compliance requirements
Consolidate programme and financial information from internal teams for donor reporting
Prepare narrative and financial reports on time in line with grant agreements
Keep grant records and documentation complete, accurate and audit-ready
Ensure compliance with grant policies, funding agreements and regulatory requirements
Prepare reports, dashboards and updates for management, funders and auditors
Work with the Mandai Nature legal team on changes to grant processes and documents
Conduct due diligence on potential grantees and grantors
Maintain grant management documentation
Support grant audits, reviews and reporting requirements
Monitor grant-related risks and escalate issues where needed
Prepare grant portfolio updates, dashboards and reports for management review
Maintain supportive relationships with internal teams, grantors and grantees
Coordinate communications, meetings and follow-up actions for effective grant delivery and stakeholder engagement
Act as a key point of contact for internal programme teams and extern
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Conservation or a related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant experience in grant management, grant administration, project management or a related field
Experience managing the full grant lifecycle, including application, due diligence, contracting, monitoring, reporting and close-out
Experience engaging and managing relationships with grantees, partners and internal stakeholders
Experience using grant management systems, CRM platforms and reporting tools
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple grants, stakeholders and deadlines at once
