About the role
You will handle deliveries and inventory at Moxy Singapore Clarke Quay, making sure goods are received, checked and passed to the right teams. This role suits someone who is organised, comfortable with physical work and happy to help guests with their packages.
What you'll do
Receive, unload and process deliveries, and record incoming freight against invoices and receiving reports
Stage merchandise by department, mark it for placement and deliver it to the correct department
Verify and track received inventory, and complete inventory reports and logs
Reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports to confirm counts are accurate
Receive, store, ship and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail
Keep the receiving room and its contents secure, including safekeeping of packages
Follow national, state and local rules for shipping hazardous materials
Ship all outgoing mail and packages
Check the quantity and condition of packages before handing them to guests
Keep an accurate tracking system for all shipping and receiving transactions, including getting guest signatures for received packages
Tell management about any loss or damage to packages
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to your manager, and complete safety training and certifications
Follow company policies and procedures, keep your uniform and appearance clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
Handle guests' service needs in a professional, positive and timely way
Speak clearly and professionally, and answer the telephone with proper etiquette
Build and maintain positive working relationships with others
Read and visually verify information in different formats, including small print
Visually inspect tools, equipment or machines to spot defects
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without help
Grasp, turn and handle objects of different sizes and weights, using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces, and go up and down stairs or service ramps
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
Perform other reasonable job duties as asked by supervisors
