About the role
This role sits within the Workplace Operations team and supports engineering strategy across a multi-site property portfolio in the region. You will help ensure the managed buildings across APAC meet JLL, client and statutory requirements, and you will handle technical and contractual quality assurance. It suits someone with engineering management experience, ideally in data centre environments, who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and fast-moving priorities.
What you'll do
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting on colocation and corporate real estate data centre metrics and operations
Support the Energy Manager in tracking energy saving initiatives across the portfolio in line with the Sustainability Management Plan
Work with sub-regional engineering teams on implementation and governance of engineering initiatives
Provide technical quality assurance support for change management, including pre-work documentation review and change submissions
Track and support power down planning across the region, liaising with global teams on event schedule coordination
Attend weekly meetings with internal lines of business on global real estate change activities and their business impact
Support major works, including small works and capitalised projects
Coordinate capacity and utilisation reviews and reporting for office tenancy, data centres and server rooms
Support and track engineering regulatory compliance management
Prepare technical reporting submissions for portfolio objectives, regular meetings and data centre performance
Support governance of drawings, OEM information and SOPs/EOPs for in-country teams
Support engineering standardisation tasks across Asia Pacific
Support account engineering playbook compliance
Govern contract renewals for the technical scope with critical services vendors
Carry out quality assurance checks on completed JLL delivered projects
Conduct governance reviews of planned JLL installation, commissioning and programming of new or replaced equipment to confirm plans, designs, scopes and goals are accurate
Review all maintenance reports to ensure maintenance is done appropriately and performance issues are followed up
Handle audit preparation, delivery and attestations of compliance for JLL and the client
Review proposed capital expenditure building services projects from budgeting through to delivery, including critical asset and component lifecycle management
Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by the Regional Engineering Director

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
1 to 3 years of relevant engineering management experience, with data centre management preferred
Thorough understanding of data centre building services design and engineering management
Experience working in Asia Pacific is desired, especially North Asia
Able to identify and implement operational efficiency improvements
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
