About the role
This role supports clinical and translational research projects in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at NUS Medicine, based at Kent Ridge Campus. It is a coordination and administration position rather than a laboratory role, focused on women's health, maternal-fetal medicine, high-risk pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis and fetal genetics. It suits an organised, detail-oriented person who is comfortable working across academic and clinical settings.
What you'll do
Help the Principal Investigator coordinate and administer clinical research projects
Support planning, implementation and monitoring of research activities and study timelines
Prepare, submit and track ethics applications, amendments, renewals and other regulatory documents

Keep study documentation such as study files, approvals, correspondence, meeting notes and reports
Coordinate with clinical teams, research coordinators, collaborators and administrative offices
Assist with patient-facing or clinical research activities, including recruitment coordination, consent documentation, follow-up scheduling and data collection
Ensure research data and records are kept accurately, securely and in line with institutional and regulatory requirements
Carry out data entry, data cleaning, data tracking and preparation of research summaries
Support preparation of reports, presentation slides, abstracts, posters and research updates
Assist with manuscript preparation, literature searches, reference management, formatting and journal submission
Help coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as collaborators, institutional offices, funding bodies and study teams
Assist with grant-related administrative work, including supporting documents, progress reports and budget tracking
Maintain quality standards for the integrity, accuracy and completeness of research data and documentation
Support other research-related and administrative duties assigned by the Principal Investigator

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Healthcare Administration or a related field
Master's degree in a clinical or healthcare-related discipline is an advantage
Prior experience in clinical research, research administration, healthcare or academic administration is advantageous
Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an added advantage
Familiarity with ethics submissions, regulatory documentation, clinical study coordination or research governance is useful
Strong administrative, organisational and coordination skills
