About the role

This role supports the revenue management team at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, helping to manage rooms inventory and maximise rooms revenue across the cluster. It suits someone with a background in revenue management, finance, economics or hospitality who enjoys analysis, reporting and system work.

What you'll do

Help prepare meeting agendas and supporting documents

Assist in rolling out hotel sales strategy across reservation, inventory, sales and revenue management systems

Support system maintenance such as monitoring forecasted demand, recommended rates and hurdles, updating group inputs and running daily system checks

Help manage room and function space authorisations, rates and restrictions

Support Front Office and Reservations teams with technical revenue management questions

Monitor hotel compliance with brand standards and guidelines affecting rate and price integrity

Update and maintain accurate, timely reports and presentations

Compile data and information from internal and external sources

Keep reservation system information accurate

Use computer systems to program, set up functions, enter data and process information

Build and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues

Keep executives, peers and subordinates informed and updated in a timely manner

Follow company policies and procedures

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related subject, or 2 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing or a related area
