About the role
This role supports the Facilities Manager in running technical services, maintenance, vendor management, finance, contracts, procurement, projects and occupancy services at a client site. It suits an experienced facilities or engineering professional who is comfortable with cleanroom operations, M&E systems and 24/7 emergency support.
What you'll do
Work to the Scope of Work in the Service Agreement and deliver services per the client's Service Level Agreement
Meet key performance indicators and service level agreement targets
Understand the site's operational and technical needs and keep the service agreement supplying the required services
Handle day-to-day site facilities operations, including cleanroom operation, and act as the key technical contact for the FM on site
Set up engineering and operational procedures and roll them out to site staff
Run energy management programmes to cut utility costs
Put in place a system to measure performance quality every quarter
Start and maintain a preventive maintenance programme
Get involved early in facilities operations and advise during site inspections and project development
Provide solutions for minor projects and coordinate contractors and vendors from start to finish, managing the M&E scope so quality and deliverables meet the agreed timeline
Plan and take responsibility for smooth running of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations and civil works for the building and manufacturing facilities
Provide 24/7 emergency call support and attend site when required
Develop and implement innovation programmes and processes that lower utility costs and raise productivity and savings
Continuously optimise processes, tools and documentation
Ensure alignment with and compliance to policies and standard operating procedures for the client's critical environment management
Keep proper engineering documentation and follow change management controls across all sites
Protect the health and safety of staff and others by following and developing guidelines and strategies
Comply with all government and statutory regulations on fire, health and safety
Comply with company programmes and audit programmes and take part in engineering community initiatives
Follow the firm's business conduct guidelines, procedures and strategies
Manage contract vendors carrying out technical audits and maintenance for all installations as scheduled, and conduct audits to confirm safety procedures, disaster recovery, business continuity and escalation procedures are in place and maintained
Take part in client-initiated EHS, BCP and ERT programmes
Give the client a monthly operation and maintenance report

Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline
Degree holders need at least 3 years of facilities management experience
Diploma holders need at least 5 years of facilities management experience
