About the role
This role supports the facilities team at a specific building or campus in the west of Singapore, working under the Facilities Manager. It covers both hard and soft facilities management, including maintenance, contractors and tenant feedback. It suits someone with a diploma in a building-related field and a few years of facilities or property experience.
What you'll do
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for hard FM such as building, M&E and plumbing and sanitary services
Oversee soft FM services such as cleaning, waste, pest control and landscape
Lead a team of technicians or property officers to meet service deliverables
Handle feedback from building occupants on operations and close cases promptly
Manage contractors carrying out maintenance work and check performance against expectations
Oversee vendors and service providers such as security officers, carpark operator and lift servicing teams
Compile service reports and send them to the client
Plan and implement improvement works for the buildings in your care
Inspect common areas and tenanted spaces, report defects and non-compliances, and follow up to close cases
Attend tenancy fit-out meetings
Carry out enforcement duties
Source quotations for ad-hoc repairs, parts replacement and other works
Prepare cost estimates for ad-hoc maintenance, reinstatement and improvement works
Order and track spares, inventories and tools for maintenance
Ensure statutory licences and permits are renewed on time, such as building signage, annual water tank cleaning, periodic structural and facade inspections
Help the Facilities Manager prepare monthly KPI slides and management reports
Take on other assignments given by management

Requirements
Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building or Facilities Management from a recognised polytechnic
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Facility management experience, preferably in commercial or industrial real estate
Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering and property or building operations is preferred
CMMS or work order management experience is preferred
