Experience Some experience About the role This is a facilities technician role supporting building maintenance and M&E systems across sites in the Northeast and West of Singapore. You will handle records, inspections and hands-on repairs for common areas and building equipment, working with term contractors and reporting to supervisors. It suits someone with a few years of practical troubleshooting and handyman experience who is comfortable travelling between locations.

Track spare parts usage for inventory control and budget planning
Submit completion documentation for payment of minor maintenance works
Take meter readings on operating equipment for energy consumption
Handle inquiries and complaints about M&E systems, utilities and building defects
Report irregularities, safety violations or contractor non-compliance to supervisors
Conduct inspections with term contractors such as pest control, fire protection and lift services
Carry out routine inspections of building systems, common areas and facilities
Perform daily checks on essential equipment
Troubleshoot M&E equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, lighting and building facilities
Attend to electrical breakdowns
Carry out minor repairs and replacements including plumbing, electrical faults, painting touch-ups and carpentry
Visually inspect low tension switchgears and distribution boards
Operate and maintain air-conditioning equipment in common areas
Operate and maintain pumps, air compressors, sump pumps, transfer pumps and booster pumps
Install or replace power points and light fittings in common areas
Check common area lighting and replace defective fittings
Respond to emergency breakdowns and technical failures
Assist the Property Officer and Condominium Manager with approved maintenance projects
Perform general maintenance of building facilities
Check the water condition of the swimming pool
Keep tools, equipment and work areas safe and in good condition
Carry out other duties assigned by your supervisor
