About the role

This senior trading role involves running a trading book and managing its risk alongside the wider Trading team. You will work with Sales, Research, and other groups across Markets and Securities Services to grow the trading franchise and meet revenue targets. It suits an experienced markets professional who is comfortable owning book risk and building relationships with clients and internal partners.

What you'll do

Run a trading book, generate revenue and manage risk for the business
Coordinate with Sales, Research, CMand and other teams across Markets and Securities Services
Trade the book to hit budgeted revenue and keep book risk in check
Build and maintain key relationships that bring trades to the desk
Anticipate client demand across the relevant products and markets

Work with desk analysts and sales to develop the franchise

Partner with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit and Finance on governance and controls

Promote responsible finance, good governance, expense discipline and ethical conduct

Assess risk and reward of transactions and consider the firm's reputation

Follow the firm's Code of Conduct, supervision plan, policies and procedures, and keep required registrations and licences current

Good to know

Full time position based in Singapore
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred
6-10 years of related experience expected

Requirements

6-10 years of experience in a related role
Knowledge of relevant products and clients
Required licensing and registrations as applicable
Advanced analytical and numerical competency
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Effective interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholders
