You will supervise the Public Areas Department team across all shifts, ensuring public areas stay clean, safe and welcoming for guests and staff. You will lead and train team members on cleaning chemicals, safe lifting and accident prevention. You will also manage operating costs, control chemical and equipment usage, and coordinate with other departments to meet their public area needs. You will handle guest complaints and make sure guests are satisfied.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in any discipline or equivalent vocational training certificate
At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role in sanitation and hygiene works
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment and their safety requirements
Good manual dexterity and able to operate housekeeping and office equipment
Excellent guest relations and communication skills
Read, write, speak and understand English
