About the role

This is a 12-month contract accounting role based in Singapore, covering the full range of finance functions for a fund in line with statutory rules and company policies. You will join a finance team that works closely with internal centres of excellence and overseas finance colleagues. It suits a qualified accountant who is meticulous, analytical and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do

Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for a fund on a timely basis
Report on financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, results analysis, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, audit schedules and intercompany reconciliation
Check payment records
Support management reporting for the fund through monthly management reports, analysis and forecasts
Work closely with internal centres of excellence and review submitted work
Liaise with local finance teams overseas on monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities
Support fund administration work, including capital account statements and distributions
Assist with ad-hoc projects at Group and BU level

Requirements

CPA/CA qualification and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience
Proficient in MS Excel
Able to communicate effectively with local stakeholders
Responsible, meticulous, analytical and organised
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
