This role leads learning and development at Hotel Stripes Singapore Chinatown, an Autograph Collection lifestyle property in the Chinatown area. You will work closely with the leadership team on training, talent development and selected HR matters, and the position suits someone with a background in L&D, HR or management operations who enjoys facilitation and people engagement.

What you'll do

Promote and facilitate learning and development programmes
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding
Identify training needs with department leaders to support associate development
Deliver and monitor training programmes so they align with company culture, service standards and business goals
Evaluate how effective training is and suggest improvements
Support talent development and employee engagement through learning activities
Assist with recruitment and hiring, including sourcing and onboarding
Support employee relations and keep communication channels with associates effective
Help administer HR programmes, policies and associate activities
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Support HR compliance, documentation and other operational HR needs

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 2 years' experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, management operations or a related professional area, or a 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related major with no work experience required
Training facilitation experience is preferred
