This role supports the sales team at Moxy Singapore Clarke Quay, helping to pursue and manage sales opportunities while ensuring business is handed over smoothly for service delivery. You will help lead daily sales activities, with a focus on building lasting customer relationships that support sales targets, and you will also carry your own sales goals. It suits someone with a background or qualification in business, marketing or hospitality who enjoys relationship-building and working with clients.

What you'll do

Work with off-property sales channels so sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicated
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to encourage future bookings, including sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and trade shows
Develop relationships within the community to grow the customer base
Help manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Provide accurate and timely handover to Event Management
Join sales calls with team members to win new business or close deals
Support operational parts of booked business such as proposals, contracts and customer correspondence
Identify new business to meet personal and location revenue goals
Understand the market, including competitors, economic trends and supply and demand, and sell against them
Help close the best opportunities based on market conditions and location needs
Understand the location's main target customer and service expectations to offer better business solutions
Support the company's service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty
Service customers to grow share of account
Follow and support the company's customer service standards
Set a positive example for guest relations
Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels

Requirements

2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major plus 2 years experience in sales and marketing or related area, OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with no work experience required
