About the role
This role supports research scientists at a laboratory centre focused on electromagnetics modelling, based at Kent Ridge Campus. You will help build simulation models, design algorithms and study simulation outputs, with possible future work on hardware implementation and experiments. It suits someone with a background in electrical engineering or scientific computing who wants to grow into a research engineer role.
What you'll do
- Assist research scientists in developing simulation models
- Conduct algorithm design work
- Analyse simulation results
- Potentially take part in future implementation and experimentation with hardware
- Work within one of several computational electromagnetics research areas

Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or scientific computing with an electromagnetics-related major
- Experience in computational electromagnetics simulation
- Strong desire to learn and to develop and apply computational electromagnetics algorithms and tools
- Programming experience in C/C++ and GPU is desired
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good analytical and modelling capability
