About the role
This leadership role is the key subject matter expert for data centre, critical environment and white space operations across the APAC region. You will oversee several teams and accounts to deliver resilient, efficient operations for clients' most critical assets, with a focus on growth, uptime, risk and innovation. It suits an experienced critical facilities leader who can manage technical experts and build strong client relationships.
What you'll do
Set, maintain and enforce high operational delivery standards across all client sites, prioritising safety, resiliency and 100% uptime.
Oversee the rollout of JLL and client global best practices, SOPs and MOPs.
Ensure teams follow the regional risk management framework, including incident management, root cause analysis and business continuity planning.

Ensure operations meet local and international regulations, industry standards such as Uptime Institute, and client-specific requirements.
Act as liaison between the JLL DC platform, DC Account Directors and clients to ensure smooth communication and strong relationships.
Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with key clients based on trust, respect and value.
Proactively identify and understand clients' short and long-term needs and goals.
Address client queries, manage complaints and provide support to ensure client satisfaction.
Advocate internally for the client to meet their needs and improve their overall experience.
Work with the Account Director to identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue.
Manage and negotiate contract terms to balance client satisfaction and company profitability.
Co-create account plans and long-term strategies focused on client retention and growth.
Track team and account performance against targets and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, projects and sales to meet client needs and deliver solutions effectively.
Compile and present reports on account health, progress and performance to management and stakeholders.
Gather customer feedback to inform operational improvements, product development and sales strategies.
Recruit, lead, mentor and develop a high-performing regional team of subject matter experts and critical facility / DC ops managers.
Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability.
Champion talent development initiatives including technical training programs, succession planning and career pathing for critical environment professionals.
Build a diverse and inclusive team that reflects company values.
Drive the adoption of new technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Lead or give inputs to sustainability initiatives for clients, focusing on energy efficiency, PUE optimisation, water conservation and renewable energy integration.

Requirements
At least 10 years of progressive experience in critical facilities management
At least 5 years specifically in data center operations
Proven track record in DC operations across the Asia Pacific region
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
Expert-level knowledge of critical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, chillers, and fire suppression systems
Strong understanding of data center design, commissioning, and white space / operational best practices
