About the role
This role drives financial transparency and decision support for the SEA business, reporting to Global Finance and SEA leadership. You will own performance management, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation across the SEA region, partnering closely with commercial, marketing and finance teams. It suits an experienced finance professional who is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
What you'll do
Run standardised monthly and ad-hoc financial forecasting and reporting, partnering with business and senior management on fact-based decisions
Advise commercial, marketing and finance counterparts on reporting, forecasting and budgeting, highlighting risks, opportunities and management commentary
Coordinate and take part in the SEA budgeting process

Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing reporting in line with Group policies, including monthly comments
Report on globally aligned KPIs for ad-hoc, short-term and long-term planning
Prepare regular management information for Group Finance on actuals and forecasts, including ad-hoc analysis
Partner with global corporate functions such as IT, Logistics and Legal
Analyse operating working capital, including receivables ageing, overdue receivables, inventory, non-current stock, clearance and accounts payable
Manage and execute cash flow controlling
Analyse standard margin, net margin, operating overhead, marketing working budget and brand/category performance
Identify improvement opportunities through variance analysis, derive solutions and support related decisions
Develop new processes, working methods, analytic tools, standards or operational plans
Support SEA countries on accounting treatment issues to ensure compliance with group regulations
Manage, monitor, report and approve Capex spending across SEA subsidiaries
Run standardised and ad-hoc analysis and reporting for the DTC channel
Manage retail channel controlling, including BPM management, rollout plans and impairment testing, and partner with senior management, SEA countries and global Retail
Control T&E spending and provide regular detailed T&E reporting for all subsidiaries
Act as single point of contact for HQ and SEA countries on information provision and consolidation of results
Lead medium-to-large projects, implement findings and ensure results are sustained
Run order-book and BOH analysis and validate risks and opportunities
Coach and guide more junior team members

Reports into the Senior Director Finance and works with SEA Finance, market finance teams, managing directors, commercial teams, internal control, corporate functions, Group Finance and global sales
Works with external consultants and internal and external auditors
KPIs include on-time management reporting, accuracy of actuals and forecasts, validation of budget inputs and meeting reporting deadlines
Requirements
Advanced degree or qualification in Finance, Economics or Accounting
8–10 years of experience in Controlling or Business Analysis
Industry experience ideally in apparel, fashion, consumer goods or FMCG
Solid accounting skills and experience
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Familiarity with SAP and other finance systems or analytical software is a major plus
