About the role

This role supports the CFO for Wealth and WRB Products in reviewing accounting and processes for WRB Retail and Wealth products, working closely with Financial Controllership and Financial Accounting teams. It suits an experienced finance professional who can partner across markets and functions to document and implement accounting and control recommendations.

Support accounting and process reviews for WRB Retail and Wealth products across markets.
Work with Financial Controllership, Financial Accounting, and Group and Country teams to understand, document and implement recommended accounting and controls.

Partner with Finance, Products and Operations teams to understand, document and roll out recommended accounting and controls.

Review existing processes and provide and implement recommendations across countries for WRB products, including Wealth Solutions.

Collaborate effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues within Group and country teams.

Participate in risk discussions to facilitate better external and internal communication of WRB risk matters impacting financial performance.

Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.

Take personal responsibility for embedding high standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the bank, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters collaboratively.

Key stakeholders include the CFO, WRB and the CFO, Wealth and WRB Products.
The role involves embedding the Group's brand and values in WRB Finance Teams.

Requirements

10+ years relevant finance experience at a leading global financial services firm, preferably banking
Strong understanding or previous experience in Retail and Wealth Products and Financial Markets products
Demonstrated track record of leading and managing broad processes while challenging the status quo and embracing transformation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage varied stakeholders and global teams
Ability to navigate complex situations and ambiguity
