About the role

This role sits within the Monitoring & Surveillance function, which checks that insurance sales and advisory work follows regulatory rules, internal policies and quality standards. You will support the business by reviewing sales conduct, assessing advisory quality and helping raise competency and compliance standards across distribution channels. It suits someone with a few years in sales quality, compliance or control work who is detail-oriented and comfortable working with different teams.

What you'll do

Review insurance sales and advisory processes to confirm they meet regulatory and internal standards
Spot trends, repeated issues and quality gaps found during monitoring
Use a risk-based approach to assess sales practices and advisory outcomes

Study monitoring results, complaints and incidents to surface emerging risks and early-warning signs

Point out control gaps, recurring themes and areas needing fixes or capability building

Help improve sales quality and advisory standards on an ongoing basis

Work with Training & Competence colleagues to share insights that shape training needs and competency frameworks

Contribute to efforts that build representative capability, ethical conduct and better customer outcomes

Partner with distribution units and internal teams to resolve issues and put corrective actions in place

Support governance, documentation and reporting for monitoring and surveillance work

Handle several timelines, schedules and deliverables at once

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field
At least 3–5 years in sales, sales quality, training and competency, compliance or another control function
Good grasp of distribution processes, regulatory expectations and/or sales quality
Skilled in testing methods and validating evidence
Strong attention to detail and disciplined execution
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
