About the role

This role sits with the global procurement finance team at a technology company's Singapore site, reporting to the Global Procurement Head of Finance. You will provide financial analysis and insight that supports procurement strategic objectives, working closely with the Chief Procurement Officer and the wider global procurement organisation. It suits someone energetic and resilient who can see the big picture while still getting into the detail of financial projects.

What you'll do

Support the Mechanics and Power Systems procurement teams with financial analysis and reporting, including cost assessments and recommendations
Manage procurement cost savings KPIs and drive actions across commodity teams
Act as key finance point of contact for the Procurement COE on GCM execution, providing insights, modelling, analysis, governance and reporting

Work with engineering and cross-functional teams to examine commodities for spend rationalisation opportunities

Partner with the Product Cost team to keep clear controls when reporting costs and validating CM billing

Take part in senior management decision-making, attending meetings and advising with data-based insights

Summarise financial models and present potential scenarios to senior stakeholders

Help manage, develop and up-skill the finance function
