About the role

This role is based at Baba Chews Restaurant (non-halal) within Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, serving both restaurant guests and in-room diners. You will handle orders, deliver food and drinks, and keep service standards high across room service and poolside. It suits someone with some hospitality experience who enjoys guest contact and can work independently.

What you'll do

Know all food and beverage menu items offered for room service and poolside

Apply good knowledge of wine and wine pairings

Greet guests and serve ordered items promptly

Take room service orders by phone and through in-room apps or devices

Collect orders from the kitchen and check they are prepared and presented correctly

Keep up to date with daily promotions and food and beverage specials

Check back with guests on their meal and any other needs

Inspect storage areas for supplies, organisation and cleanliness

Anticipate guest and operational needs

Ensure room service equipment works and report faults to the Room Service Manager

Maintain grooming standards, including uniform and name tag

Carry out other duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Operation Manager

Requirements

High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage or related field
1 year of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
Bartending and experience with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is advantageous
