About the role
This senior role owns Dyson's Product Lifecycle Management strategy and leads the PLM & Engineering Centre of Excellence from the Singapore Technology Centre. It suits an experienced engineering transformation leader who can govern enterprise PLM platforms and align stakeholders across a global product development network.
What you'll do
Lead the PLM & Engineering Centre of Excellence, covering engineering process ownership, PLM product ownership, transformation, registry services and technical training.
Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for PLM and engineering excellence.
Build and develop a global team with strong succession and technical capability pipelines.

Establish capability ownership, governance and operating rhythms across accountable domains.
Own the PLM strategy, roadmap and future-state architecture as business owner for Teamcenter.
Keep Teamcenter as the authoritative system of record for product definition, configuration, engineering change, release governance and traceability.
Lead evolution of the digital thread strategy across requirements, design, verification, manufacturing and release.
Define governance and ownership boundaries across Teamcenter, Atlassian and connected enterprise platforms.
Own strategic direction and continuous improvement of core engineering lifecycle capabilities, including requirements management, verification and validation, configuration management, change and release management, issue management, failure mode avoidance, and digital engineering and simulation.
Drive process simplification, standardisation and digitisation across product development.
Own the Registry Services operating model and capability roadmap, ensuring secure and compliant engineering information exchange with external partners.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders across engineering, DDIO, digital technology, quality, regulatory and manufacturing.
Drive organisational change programmes and develop communication, training and adoption strategies.

Requirements
Significant experience leading PLM, engineering transformation or engineering operations in a complex global organisation
Experience defining and implementing PLM strategy, governance frameworks and operating models
Demonstrated leadership of enterprise-scale PLM deployments or transformations
Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle processes such as requirements management, systems engineering, verification and validation, engineering change and configuration management
Experience with enterprise PLM platforms, ideally Siemens Teamcenter
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering, PLM and business transformation organisations
