About the role
This role leads hospitality programmes and internal events at a single onsite venue, acting as the main point of contact for clients and vendors. You will combine creative planning with hands-on execution to deliver polished experiences for staff, partners and VIP guests. It suits someone with a strong events or hospitality background who is comfortable juggling many projects at once.

Work with leadership so events support organisational messaging and strategic goals
Keep a coordinated events calendar that makes good use of resources
Review event results using qualitative and quantitative measures to improve the hospitality and events approach
Protect company brand standards across all hospitality touchpoints
Coordinate and attend site inspections
Carry out regular venue audits to keep the space clean, functional and maintained
Give direction to vendors, facilities staff and other service providers so work is coordinated with minimal disruption
Manage the venue calendar and oversee space bookings
Know emergency response plans and encourage safe practices
Safeguard the privacy and security of everyone visiting the facilities
Represent the venue professionally
Run all operations, functions and logistics for the event centre, including conference centre scheduling via client software, catering orders and A/V troubleshooting
Meet event centre clients to work out needs such as space, set-up, A/V and technical requirements, catering and event support
Complete project timelines and communication plans, and handle all details promptly and accurately
Schedule and lead pre-con meetings for every event
Check quality and oversee deliverables from catering, facilities, technology and A/V, executive production, security, transportation and janitorial teams
Help check in attendees and hand out giveaways
Act as the main contact for event attendees and guests
Interface independently with day-to-day client contacts
Work closely with clients to make sure programme objectives are met
Run high-profile meetings and events involving senior executives
Deliver high standards of care during events, exceed client expectations and anticipate needs
Track and report changes
Input and track event information accurately
Follow escalation and incident reporting procedures
Complete all assigned tasks and projects on time
Take part in continuous improvement by adopting and helping develop best practices, new tools and efficiency ideas
Support the operations team when needed

This is a full-time, on-site role based
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma, with proven experience as an event planner or organiser
At least 4 to 8 years of experience in event planning, project management, hospitality or a related field
Track record of building and maintaining client relationships
Strong knowledge of programme and event management and budget maintenance, with exposure to project planning
Professional spoken presentation and writing skills
Experience handling multiple projects and competing demands
