About the role

Join the kitchen team at Highhouse as a part-time Kitchen Crew member. You will support daily kitchen operations, working closely with the Head and Executive Chef to prepare and execute menu items to specification. This role suits someone eager to learn advanced cooking techniques and gain exposure to new ingredients.

What you'll do

Set up your work station and prepare raw materials before service
Execute food menu items during operations to the Head and Executive Chef's specifications
Assist the Executive and Sous Chefs with daily tasks and assignments
Receive and store products and ingredients following the restaurant's best practices
Label products and track storage inventory of items received
Monitor stock levels
Sterilise all kitchen equipment and your workstation at the end of each shift
Study the recipe card for menu items in your assigned station
Ensure necessary equipment and materials are always available
Keep your kitchen station sanitised and orderly
Continuously train in advanced cooking techniques and unfamiliar produce and ingredients
