About the role
You will lead the design, evolution and operation of Grab's stream processing platform, with Apache Flink as the core compute engine, working within the Streaming Data team (Coban) that builds real-time data infrastructure for teams across Grab. This hands-on role suits an experienced platform or data engineer who enjoys turning complex real-time infrastructure into reliable, self-service capabilities and mentoring senior engineers. You will work onsite at the Grab Singapore office at One North and report to the Senior Data Engineering Manager.
What you'll do
- Lead platform work that makes stream processing easy, reliable, efficient and secure across Grab through self-serve capabilities
- Design and build abstractions, modules and libraries that lower the barrier to adopting Flink and cut operational and security toil for users
