Experience Experienced About the role This role leads the project management and finance governance functions within a finance transformation team at an insurance company. You will report to the Head of Finance Transformation & Governance and drive key initiatives end to end while keeping financial controls and governance standards strong. It suits an experienced project and governance professional from a regulated financial services background.
What you'll do Lead strategic finance initiatives and coordinate across functions to align with enterprise priorities Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring and closure Set up and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets and resourcing Know someone for this? Keep project discipline so deliverables meet project standards, internal policies, audit and governance controls
Drive change management and smooth handover to BAU, including post-implementation reviews and benefits tracking
Keep sponsors, initiative owners, leads and stakeholders informed with timely, transparent updates
Work with Internal Control, Audit, Risk, Regulatory and Transformation Office teams on governance and compliance
Oversee finance governance, policies and expenditure controls for BAU and transformation work
Manage IT and finance workflow platforms for expenditure approvals, investment tracking and governance reporting
Review and validate project and expense budgets against value creation and investment priorities
Monitor project financials and division expenses, escalating deviations through governance forums
Run ad-hoc financial and expense analysis for budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and reporting
Support business planning, expense forecasting and expense reporting
Conduct periodic QA reviews and follow up on governance issues or control gaps
Support system upgrades, migrations or parallel runs Good to know Based in Singapore Full time position Requirements 8–10 years of project management and finance governance experience Preferably experience in a regulated financial services environment Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional qualification Strong business acumen across financial, operational and technical areas Excellent written and verbal communication and senior stakeholder management Collaborative leader who can unify cross-functional teams Apply on the company website
