About the role

This role leads the Advertising and Promotions team for an assigned portfolio, shaping and delivering the A&P strategy. You will work with a retail and lifestyle destination brand, guiding a team of marketing executives and partnering with agencies and stakeholders. It suits an experienced marketing professional who is organised, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do

Plan and run major integrated campaigns, festive activations, loyalty programmes and tactical promotions from start to finish.
Create campaign concepts, creative briefs and customer experiences that match the brand positioning and commercial goals.

Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing executives, giving clear direction, feedback and quality control.

Set up project plans, timelines, risk registers and governance checkpoints, escalating issues early and planning contingencies.

Manage creative, production, PR, digital, media and event agencies to achieve high-quality results.

Build and manage partnerships with tenants, IP owners, sponsors and external stakeholders.

Track campaign budgets, procurement, contract administration and compliance with company policies.

Analyse campaign performance, shopper behaviour, CRM and loyalty data, turning insights into recommendations and improvements.

Oversee tenant communications and relations, plus website, directories, app content and social media accuracy for assigned portfolios.

Prepare management papers and presentations for senior management approval, with commercially sound recommendations.

Drive innovation by finding new campaign concepts, partnerships and revenue opportunities.

Take on other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or a related discipline
At least 7 years of relevant marketing experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
Preferably experienced in retail, shopping malls, lifestyle, tourism or destination marketing
Proven track record leading large-scale integrated campaigns and managing external agencies
Strong creative judgement and ability to develop compelling campaign narratives
Excellent project management, stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills
