About the role

This role leads advertising and promotional activity for an assigned shopping mall, working with tenants, partners and the wider marketing team. It suits a creative, organised marketing professional with retail or hospitality experience who is comfortable juggling campaigns, budgets and stakeholders. The position is based at i12 Katong on a two-year contract.

What you'll do

Conceptualise, plan, implement and manage advertising and promotional activities for the assigned mall to hit agreed KPIs
Grow and maximise revenue from mall advertising and casual leasing spaces such as atriums, kiosks and vending machines
Build strategic partnerships to secure sponsorships, event hosting opportunities and publicity for the mall

Engage tenants proactively to help market their products, lift sales and improve the shopper experience

Plan the department budget and keep spending within approved limits

Review campaigns and events after they run, assessing traffic and tenant turnover, and prepare monthly internal reports

Develop online marketing strategies that engage online communities

Analyse competitors and market trends to identify footfall-driving opportunities

Oversee marketing of advertising spaces to maximise mall revenue

Manage Digital Service Advocates so daily operations run smoothly

Maintain customer service initiatives and meet the mall's service standards

Support group campaigns and initiatives

Requirements

Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail or hospitality
Creative, dynamic and resourceful, with good media and promotional partner contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and customer relationship management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
