About the role
This role sits in the Site Engineering & Maintenance Department and looks after the site's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and its integrations. You will act as the Business System Owner and technical subject matter expert, keeping the system reliable, compliant and suited to manufacturing needs. It suits an experienced engineer who enjoys system ownership, validation work and cross-team collaboration.
What you'll do
Own the MES as Business System Owner and SME, covering configuration, maintenance, upgrades and ongoing improvement.
Build and maintain MES architecture, databases, process instructions and technical specifications in line with global design standards.
Maintain and optimise interfaces between MES and other site systems, including IoT device and digital solution integration.

Give advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex MES problems and work with the Digital team and vendors to resolve issues quickly.
Lead MES work arising from site projects, change controls, deviations and CAPAs, from design through commissioning and handover.
Support the Computerised System Validation lifecycle, including validation activities, system changes and documentation.
Keep MES compliant with GMP, data integrity, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements, including access, security, backup and recovery.
Represent MES during regulatory inspections, internal audits and self-inspections, supporting documentation and remediation.
Monitor system performance, downtime and deviations, and drive improvements to reliability and user experience.
Write and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, system specifications and engineering records.
Train and support operations and end users on MES functionality.
Manage MES vendors for support, troubleshooting, maintenance and projects, including reviewing proposals and documentation.
Take part in global MES and digital networks, sharing lessons learned and aligning with global standards.

Full-time role based in Singapore.
You will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering & Maintenance, Digital/IT, Automation, Quality, Validation, Global MES teams and external vendors.
Requirements
Experience owning or supporting a Manufacturing Execution System
Knowledge of GMP, data integrity and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with Computerised System Validation
Able to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Experience managing system vendors
