About the role
You will oversee the security team's daily operations at Hilton Singapore Orchard, making sure patrols, procedures and safety standards are followed throughout each shift. This role suits someone with supervisory experience in security who is comfortable leading a team in a hotel environment and coordinating with other departments.
What you'll do
Supervise each security shift and keep patrol patterns and frequencies in place to protect guests and team members
Make sure officers report safety, security and defect issues to the right department promptly
Know each department's procedures, security practices and emergency plans, and monitor work standards
Carry out random bag checks for team members entering and leaving the building
Enforce the asset removal policy so hotel property is not taken without approval
Arrange approved routes and escorts for team members carrying cash when needed
Ensure perimeter patrols happen once every three shifts and keep records
Review team members' work knowledge, discipline and responsibilities
Manage daily shift schedules and attendance records
Share departmental work arrangements and training plans
Inspect the hotel to confirm security practices are followed, fire exits are clear, and equipment does not block fire hose reel doors or sprinkler heads
Follow up with contractors and vendors to fix fire safety and critical system issues
Handle guest complaints professionally and communicate effectively with guests
Keep up to date with first aid and fire emergency procedures
Maintain safety and security audit documentation daily, weekly, monthly and yearly
Keep your work area clean and tidy
Maintain a professional appearance to Hilton standards and show a good attitude at all times
Work positively with team members to build rapport, team spirit and clear communication
Take on other reasonable duties as assigned

Requirements
At least 2 years in a supervisory role
Valid Security Officer License from PLRD
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Good knowledge of hotel life-safety systems, fire equipment and security operations
Strong leadership skills
Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
