About the role
This role sits within the Integrated Communications Section and reports to its Head. You will coordinate the hospital's volunteer programme, guiding volunteers from recruitment through to retention while working with departments and community partners. It suits someone organised and people-oriented who enjoys building relationships and creating meaningful volunteering opportunities.
What you'll do
- Coordinate recruitment, screening, onboarding, orientation and role matching for volunteers, including keeping role descriptions clear.
- Plan and coordinate volunteer deployment across clinical and non-clinical programmes with departmental supervisors.
