GovTech is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own internal digital products that boost employee productivity and operational efficiency. These products cover knowledge and record management as well as industry-facing services such as grants and licensing, helping officers serve the tourism sector reliably. The role suits someone with product management experience who can set direction and drive delivery, adoption and measurable results.
What you'll do
Define and evolve the product vision, roadmap and priorities for the assigned product area.
Turn operational needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics, and keep a prioritised backlog.
Own the product lifecycle from discovery through build, launch and iteration, tracking post-launch outcomes.

Take accountability for delivery scope, timelines, quality and operational readiness alongside engineering and delivery leads.
Drive delivery planning including milestones, release plans and dependencies, and keep stakeholders updated on progress and risks.
Manage delivery risks, issues and trade-offs, escalating early with options and recommendations.
Work with engineering, architecture, security and operations to make solutions production-ready, covering security, performance and supportability.
Partner with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, data/QA and operations to ship iterative releases while maintaining service continuity.
Prioritise work based on productivity impact, service levels, compliance and audit needs, and user value.
Run product rituals such as refinement, sprint planning support and demos, and keep documentation current.
Redesign and digitise end-to-end workflows like grants processing, licensing approvals and case handling to cut manual effort and cycle time.
Simplify complex business rules into scalable product and system design that balances usability, controls and efficiency.
Spot opportunities for automation, standardisation and reuse to improve productivity and reduce errors.
Work with operational teams to understand constraints, edge cases and service needs, and translate them into product increments.
Align policy, operations and technology stakeholders on priorities, timelines and release scope, and drive timely decisions.
Communicate delivery progress, risks and outcomes to product leadership and senior stakeholders.
Improve internal user experience by reducing friction, rework and training overhead through clear workflows, intuitive design and enablement.
Define and track productivity and service metrics such as turnaround time, throughput, backlog, error rates and adoption, and use insights to guide iteration.
Ensure changes achieve intended operational outcomes and become part of business-as-usual operations.
Ensure interoperability with enterprise systems and shared platforms such as identity, data, workflow and integration, and manage integration dependencies.

Requirements
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
Typically 4–7 years of relevant experience in product management, business transformation, digital delivery or similar roles
Proven track record delivering enterprise or internal-facing products or workflow systems with measurable operational impact
Experience managing delivery in partnership with engineering teams, including planning, prioritisation, risk management and release management
Outcome-oriented product thinking: frames problems clearly, defines success metrics and prioritises impactful work
Strong execution and delivery discipline
