About the role
This role supports Sales & Marketing at Moxy Singapore Clarke Quay, part of Marriott International. You will promote the brand, engage with potential owners and guests, and handle general office tasks. It suits someone with some related experience who enjoys guest contact and sales support.
What you'll do
Promote brand awareness both inside and outside the company
Use sales techniques to grow revenue while keeping existing guest loyalty
Speak with potential owners by phone to arrange preview package sales or tours
Encourage guests and callers to buy or book preview package sales or tours
Explain what is involved in attending a sales presentation to potential owners
Check that individuals meet eligibility rules before booking a tour for a Marriott vacation club property
Decide and give complimentary gifts to guests for their patronage, such as reward points or show tickets
Carry out general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing and faxing
Receive, record and pass on messages accurately and clearly
Help management with training, evaluating, counselling, motivating and coaching employees, and act as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process
Follow company policies and procedures, keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation
Speak with others clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones with proper etiquette
Build and maintain positive working relationships, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns
Ensure quality expectations and standards are met
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
