This role leads the banquet team at Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Singapore, covering both the daily running of the banquet floor and the wider administration of the department. You will be responsible for service standards, staff performance and guest satisfaction while keeping costs and profits in check. It suits an experienced banquet operations manager ready to step up and coach a team in an international-class hotel setting.

What you'll do

Coordinate the day-to-day running of the banquet floor to maximise profit and guest satisfaction
Maintain high service quality and operational detail across all events and functions
Approve food, beverage and general requisitions for assigned sections
Support the department in planning budgets, forecasts, CAPEX and P&L for the division
Manage the department efficiently in line with the established concept statement, delivering courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service
Coach, counsel and discipline staff, giving constructive feedback to improve performance
Brief staff on SFSMS, hygiene and food safety management policies, and fire and life safety standards, and ensure they are applied correctly
Hold pre-function meetings with scheduled staff and review all information relevant to the day's functions
Ensure smooth and effective communication between banquet and other hotel departments
