About the role

This role supports a banking team by driving insurance sales through referral partners and direct client engagement. You will work alongside Relationship Managers, coaching them on insurance products and processes while managing client needs and compliance requirements. It suits an experienced insurance sales professional who is comfortable leading, training and working with multiple stakeholders.

What you'll do

Partner with Relationship Managers to hit referral and conversion targets
Run regular training, workshops and case studies for Relationship Managers on product knowledge, insurance pitches and processes
Meet sales targets
Develop ideas and action plans to grow sales activity and related financial drivers

Conduct fact-finding and insurance needs analysis for clients and provide timely advice and solutions

Carry out systematic reviews for existing policyholders

Attend promptly to customer enquiries

Provide regular reporting on leads, sales activity and pipeline cases

Coordinate with internal partners such as Relationship Managers, fiduciary and credit teams, and external insurance providers on case management

Lead by example and build a culture aligned with risk and control expectations

Follow money laundering prevention procedures and report suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit

Ensure compliance with bank and external regulatory requirements

Adhere to FAA and good practices guidelines, including weekly or monthly coaching, meetings and required CPD hours

Uphold the Group's Values and Code of Conduct and take responsibility for ethical standards

Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters

Good to know

Priority International Banking Relationship Managers and Team Managers, and insurance providers are key stakeholders
Some roles may involve recruitment assessments

Requirements

7+ years of relevant sales experience
M5, M5A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A and HI certification preferred
Insurance sales experience preferred
Business communication skills
Insurance concepts and product knowledge
