About the role
This role sits with Treasury Markets on the trading floor and acts as the central contact point for Treasury, other business units and operations teams in Singapore and globally. The main focus is supporting the forecasting and intraday liquidity management of the bank's central bank account with the MAS. It suits an experienced banking operations professional with funding and liquidity management background and prior people management exposure.
What you'll do
Monitor and manage intraday liquidity across the firm's central bank accounts in the MEPS+ system
Calculate and provide funding forecasts to Treasury Markets within agreed intraday cutoffs, including root cause analysis of key funding drivers and forecast swings

Manage payment scheduling systems proactively so the firm's throughput needs and time-critical payments are met
Monitor MEPS+ to support compliance with regulatory requirements such as MCB and GPS, escalating issues to Treasury Markets promptly
Reconcile forecasted versus actual nostro settlements in near real time
Investigate reconciliation exceptions and alerts immediately
Partner with and support Treasury Markets for effective real-time funding and liquidity management decisions
Manage all accounts held for SCB Singapore proactively, including payment switches across accounts to manage liquidity and funding
Provide Nostro MIS and control reports to help Treasury Markets measure and manage intraday liquidity risks
Engage with Treasury Markets to find opportunities to improve the operational support model
Contribute to process and system changes in Treasury Services and related upstream and downstream functions, including a central role in developing and rolling out the new intraday liquidity platform in Singapore
Support initiatives to bring client centricity into the unit's process universe
Work within the global Treasury Services team to help build out the Treasury Services Target Operating Model within the group Network and Nostro Management organisation

Requirements
10 years of relevant experience in any banking operations
2 years of experience in funding and liquidity management
Prior people manager experience
Good verbal and written business communication
Excellent analytical capabilities
Good people management skills
