About the role

This role is an account management position focused on High Net Worth broker distribution channels for an insurance business. You would be part of a new team building the HNW segment, working with international brokers and financial advisory partners. It suits someone with extensive experience managing distribution partners in insurance, banking or broking who is independent and customer-focused.

What you'll do

Drive business development with HNW broker partners, including international brokers, to support the HNW strategy for both revenue and profitability.
Contribute product development ideas to grow revenue and profitability by offering insights into product specifications and processing needs.

Build and manage a pipeline for the range of HNW products manufactured by the company.

Work closely with case managers and HNW underwriters to proactively manage client expectations.

Build sustainable long-term relationships with core financial advisory partners, including international brokers and expatriate advisers.

Generate business development opportunities and account management activities with financial advisers.

Develop a strong understanding of the HNW segment to identify and create new products suited to that market.

Provide insights on market trends, including competitor product features and marketing activities specific to the HNW segment.

Collaborate with the marketing team to keep products and services at the forefront of the market.

Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met by working closely with Risk and Compliance teams.

Requirements

More than 10 years of direct experience managing distribution partners with an insurer, bank or broker
Existing relationships with banks or international brokers preferred
Familiarity with the HNW IFA market
Good understanding of life products and trends in FA channels and the HNW market
Ability to influence key internal stakeholders to deliver winning products and services
Ability to provide recommendations based on customer needs and market trends
