Experience Some experience About the role This role is based at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, where you will oversee front office operations and support the team on shift. It suits someone with hotel front desk experience who is ready to take on supervisory duties and lead by example.

Make sure rates match market codes and document any exceptions
Take payment before issuing keys and verify or adjust billing
Compile and review daily reports, logs and contingency lists
Complete cashier and closing reports
Give guests directions and information about the property
Handle guest requests, involve other staff when needed and follow up to confirm completion
Process payments, vouchers, paid-outs and charges, then balance and drop receipts
Count and secure the bank at the start and end of each shift
Obtain manual authorisations and follow accounting procedures
Report any guest reports of theft to Loss Prevention or Security
Help management train, evaluate, counsel, motivate and coach employees
Act as a role model and first point of contact for the fair treatment and open door process
Build positive working relationships and support the team in reaching shared goals
Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
Follow company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications, keep a clean and professional appearance
Keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets
