This role supports the finance team at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong, handling payroll processing and general cashier duties. It suits someone with payroll and accounting experience who is accurate, organised and comfortable working with authorities and other departments.

Process payroll and complete month-end payroll closing accurately
Ensure monthly and yearly submissions to authorities are made on time
Check that overtime claims have proper approval and authorisation
Prepare payroll inputs such as hours worked, terminations, adjustments and annual, sick and recreation leave
Reconcile automatic payroll deductions including superannuation payments and city ledger
Supervise the filing of payroll reports and pay slips
Journalise the payroll summary each month
Review year-to-date tax calculations and annual tax returns
Prepare provident fund and other related payments to the CPF Board
Prepare other payments and submissions to local authorities on specific timings
Carry out general cashier duties
Coordinate and communicate with other departments on accounting matters and internal control
Assist in analysing monthly financial accounts and provide financial information to the Finance Manager
Maintain relationships with CPF, MOM and Labour Offices to keep pay rates correct and current, and keep copies of labour and union agreements for all positions
Assist in monthly forecasting and yearly budget input related to payroll data
Prepare manual payments for terminations
Prepare income tax payments to the Tax Office
Perform other duties as required

Minimum Diploma or equivalent
