About the role
This senior role carries overall plant accountability for building lasting operational excellence across every process. You will head an integrated programme spanning front-line excellence, organisational excellence, utilities, overall equipment effectiveness, maintenance and quality excellence, with emphasis on optimising processes, removing waste and creating value. It suits an experienced operations leader who can align the plant with divisional and enterprise programmes and deliver year-on-year performance and cost gains.

Build plant-wide capability in performance metrics, measurement systems and data interpretation to lift operational results.
Drive visual management and data transparency so teams engage, take ownership and make informed decisions.

Run continuous improvement initiatives tied to strategic and operational goals using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and value-stream methods.
Review current processes and workflows, spot improvement opportunities and design future states that shorten value streams and cut non-value-added work.
Plan, execute and sustain value stream mapping and Kaizen events, assessing risks, removing barriers and preparing contingency plans.
Act as a change agent by communicating transformation efforts, building understanding and embedding a continuous improvement mindset.
Estimate, validate and track the financial benefits of improvement projects together with Finance and Operations.
Partner with the site leadership team on business strategy, operational execution and organisational design.
Anticipate future operational challenges and proactively develop plans to meet them.
Support the Site Director in strategic planning and execution.
Identify systemic issues through data and root-cause analysis, then define and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
Lead the Training and Development function so technical and leadership programmes meet current and future organisational needs.
Continuously assess and improve learning and development programmes as business requirements change.
Foster a knowledge-sharing culture through structured knowledge management, best-practice identification and cross-functional collaboration.
Lead customer, affiliate and external stakeholder visits that showcase the company's value proposition.
Lead corporate social responsibility initiatives and external engagement with schools, institutions and community partners.

Requirements
Strong Lean Six Sigma knowledge
Proven human relations, communication, change management, employee engagement, facilitation and project management capabilities
Broad global understanding of business operations
Proven coaching and mentoring ability
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred
