About the role

A global fashion brand is looking for a Merchandise Planning Manager to lead strategy for an assigned product category. You will own the commercial performance and style direction of the collection, working with teams across regions and channels. This suits someone with deep merchandising experience who enjoys data-led decision making and fast-moving global inventory work.

What you'll do

Define the seasonal must-have styles, setting target order volumes and sales contribution benchmarks
Use performance data to identify high-contribution styles and evolve them into core repeat lines
Build global pricing hierarchies based on market demand and competitor benchmarking while holding target margin benchmarks
Own the full lifecycle of every SKU, from concept and material selection through seasonal markdowns and exit strategies

Rebalance inventory globally by moving slow stock from weaker regions to high-demand markets to improve full-price sell-through

Oversee a push-based inventory model built on strategic forecasts to shorten traditional production lead times

Design a pull-based replenishment system where stock movement follows real-time sales demand

Manage inventory flow across the global network using live performance data to keep stock fluid and improve stock turn

Requirements

Advanced sales data analysis skills for accurate demand forecasting
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Merchandising or a related field
At least 8 years of relevant experience
Proficient with Office 365 tools, especially Excel and Power BI
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Expertise in assortment planning and market research
