About the role

This is a two-year contract role based in Singapore, sitting within the group accounting centre of excellence of a large security services organisation. You will handle statutory consolidation and group reporting for top management, shareholders and auditors, and partner closely with finance teams locally and overseas. It suits a meticulous, self-driven accounting professional with strong consolidation experience who enjoys improving processes and working across markets.

What you'll do

Prepare statutory consolidated accounts in line with IFRS, making sure they are accurate and delivered on time for management and stakeholders

Prepare the quarterly and yearly reporting package for the shareholder

Act as a key liaison with external and internal auditors and manage the audit process

Support the group accounting centre of excellence in rolling out accounting guidance to finance teams in HQ and overseas markets

Business partner the management accounting and FP&A team on accounting matters

Lead group-level initiatives such as ad-hoc reviews of controls to confirm they are adequate and comply with related policies

Review and control balance sheet accounts

Align and update the group's accounting policies so they comply with SFRS and new accounting standards

Drive continuous improvement in processes and enhance existing consolidation and reporting processes to raise the quality of financial reporting

Take on ad-hoc assignments and projects as required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with solid knowledge of FRS
At least 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on consolidation work
Big 4 exposure is an advantage
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
SAP FICO and BPC knowledge preferred
Prior BPC implementation experience is an advantage
