About the role
This role sits with the Ministry of Finance team behind GeBIZ X, a platform transforming procurement for public officers and suppliers. You will work across product, engineering, policy and operations to keep the platform reliable and effective, and it suits someone who enjoys turning user needs into practical solutions.
What you'll do
Engage agencies and suppliers to understand pain points, sharpen user stories and spot chances to improve outcomes using metrics
Work with Product Managers, Engineers and Policy teams to roll out features and changes smoothly
Run agency onboarding and engagement, covering process coordination, documentation and testing
Bridge frontline users and technical teams so issues are resolved and feedback flows well
Lead functional design discussions and convert business needs into system configurations
Map user journeys and data flows across systems for coherence and efficiency
Spot inter-agency data and integration dependencies, risks and improvement opportunities
Triage operational issues such as configuration errors, data inconsistencies and integration gaps
Analyse operational and product data to find trends, guide prioritisation and drive improvements
Create and upkeep playbooks, SOPs and documentation using tools like JIRA and Confluence
Support delivery through testing, defect triage and User Acceptance Testing
Promote best practices in product operations across problem spaces
Conduct user research and turn findings into operational and product enhancements
Build and apply data-driven strategies to lift operational efficiency and product outcomes
Help procure and set up DevOps tools and platforms
Develop and implement risk and incident management approaches for operational issues
Support audits and keep to policies and governance requirements
Drive user support and engagement strategies to boost adoption and satisfaction
Set up feedback management practices and continuous improvement loops
Prepare operational readiness for launches, including communications and go-to-market support
Configure Ivalua modules such as Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, Procurement, Invoicing and Catalogues
Implement and maintain integrations, ETL processes and system interfaces
Support data migration and backend configurations
Troubleshoot workflow, configuration and system performance issues
Maintain configuration documentation, test scenarios and training materials
Work with Solution Architects, Technical Leads and Product Managers to deliver solutions
Run system demonstrations, walkthroughs and end-user training
Ensure configurations follow procurement policies and best practices

This is a 2-year fixed term contract
Ivalua Level 3 certification must be obtained within 6 months of appointment
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
At least 3 years in product operations, business analysis, or product/project management in IT settings
Experience in Agile environments
Must get Ivalua Level 3 certification within 6 months of appointment
Proficiency in SQL and database concepts
Practical grasp of APIs, integrations and system architecture
