About the role

This role supports the Group on tax matters across its real estate operations in various jurisdictions, covering compliance, transfer pricing and structuring. It suits an experienced tax professional who can work with external advisors, authorities and internal legal and finance teams.

What you'll do

Oversee tax compliance for real estate transactions and entities in multiple jurisdictions, keeping to local tax laws and regulations

Manage and file corporate tax returns and other required documentation accurately and on time

Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors and local tax authorities on tax reporting

Lead tax structuring and due diligence for real estate acquisitions, disposals and investments

Provide tax advice on transaction structuring to improve tax efficiency and reduce risk

Work with internal legal and finance teams so tax aspects are integrated into transactional processes

Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for cross-border real estate transactions, including joint ventures, partnerships and other investment vehicles

Evaluate tax implications of different financing and ownership structures

Give ongoing strategic tax advice on holding structures, financing and repatriation strategies for real estate investments across jurisdictions

Oversee and manage transfer pricing documentation for real estate entities, keeping to local regulations and international guidelines

Requirements

At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in tax advisory or tax management within real estate
Expertise in multi-jurisdictional taxation
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations on real estate transactions, structuring and transfer pricing
