About the role
This role sits within the Flight Hour Services entity supporting the Singapore Airlines and Scoot Airbus fleet, reporting to the TSP Engineering Manager. The jobholder drives Systems/Avionics engineering delivery and performance, keeping aircraft dispatch reliability and on-time performance in line with airworthiness requirements and Airbus technical standards. It suits an experienced airline or MRO engineer who is comfortable with technical follow-up, customer collaboration and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do
Provide engineering support for A320/A380 defects at line and pursue longer-term Systems/Avionics engineering topics
Oversee parking and storage maintenance task issuances, expiry and technical deviations with the Toulouse scheduled maintenance department and the customer

Carry out defect and delay root cause analysis with engineering technical follow-up alongside Toulouse headquarters and the customer
Build close working relationships with the customer to align processes and deliverables
Present engineering analysis, action plans and technical follow-up monthly to the customer's engineering division vice president at the Technical Standards Committee
Support MRO and other FTM contractors, monitoring their deliverables and performance
Maintain communication with TSP stakeholders and collaborate with the TSP Operations Team
Escalate critical issues with Toulouse for further investigation with Airbus Customer Support and Airbus Programs
Feed back in-service experience to the Airbus organisation, including Customer Support, A320/A380 Programs and FHS Engineering
Provide technical support to CAAS, EASA and FAA where required
Ensure compliance with regulations, airworthiness and quality standards
Contribute to dispatch reliability and the contractual aircraft on-time performance KPI
Contribute to and implement process and continuous improvement initiatives
Approve and draft modification bulletins under applicable CS-25 design standards and local Part 21 regulations
Approve and draft engineering notes under OEM repair approval documents and local Part 21 regulations
Maintain compliance with the Airbus Singapore DOA Design Control System as a Design Signatory
Keep a close working relationship with Airbus Quality and Design Office, ensuring DOA deliverables stay within approved scope
Take part in DOA audits with TSP Quality and local aviation authorities

Requirements
Degree in Engineering or an aircraft maintenance licence
At least 8 years of relevant experience in an airline or MRO engineering position
Maintenance environment experience is a plus
Project management or continuous improvement skills
Able to work under stress
