About the role

This is a 12-month contract role within the Technology team of a global investment company, focused on Finance and Tax systems. You will act as the link between business users and technology delivery teams, driving both project work and daily operations. It suits an experienced IT project manager with a finance and tax background who enjoys improving processes with technology, data and AI.

What you'll do

Lead the implementation, delivery and upkeep of Finance and Tax systems and related projects.
Work with the Finance team to review and improve processes using Workday and other AI/ML tools.
Handle business-as-usual system work, including monitoring and maintaining the health of core systems.
Make sure teams meet agreed service levels for system availability, reliability and performance.
Manage vendor partners to deliver the required outcomes.
Spot improvement opportunities and match business needs with the current architecture.
Bridge business and technology delivery teams across projects and day-to-day operations.
Lead rollouts of new systems, features, modules and integrations, including AI features such as chatbots, recommendations and document intelligence.
Ensure integration, user acceptance testing and end-user training are carried out.
Oversee project execution against timelines, budgets and quality standards.
Engage project teams, stakeholders and senior management to drive solutions and resolve issues.
Oversee vendors on quality, compliance, observability and timely issue resolution.
Manage vendor relationships end-to-end, including compliance for data privacy, security and AI usage.
Work closely with team members and stakeholders in an agile setting.

The role is based in Singapore.

Requirements

At least 10 years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on finance and tax projects
Experience managing medium to large complex project delivery through multiple third-party delivery teams
Experience delivering digital or custom solutions and integrating with package or SaaS enterprise solutions
Consulting background in Workday Finance delivery is preferred
Workday Finance certification is preferred
Experience managing a multi-vendor environment and handling BAU operations is preferred
